Welcome to my home improvement blog. Although I have not made it my profession, I have a passion for improving the place I call home. My home is a colonial built in 1910 which I live in with my beautiful wife who has supported me and stood by as our home has been transformed. She is my best friend, the love of my life and I make sure that my home and my quest to improve it does not come before her or my children. It is a challenging balancing act but in the end the love GOD has given me for my family ALWAYS WINS out. We have three beautiful children together who get to see God's love shine through us. I am an operations manager at a historic house museum which has enabled me to learn a great deal about building construction. I have spent the last fifteen years renovating my home along with being a devoted husband, a loving father, a dedicated volunteer firefighter and a man with a love for God. I realize that everything I have is from Him and I am responsible for taking care of it. This includes my family, my home and myself.
